Follett Destiny eBooks
To access Follett Destiny eBooks click the button below:
- Log-in using school username and password. (name@students.troup.org and 5-digit number)
- Scroll down until you see eBooks.
- Select "See All".
- Books marked "Green-In" are available to check out and books marked "Red-Out" are currently unavailable.
- Click "Open" to preview book or "Checkout" to select title.
- Once books are checked out, access them from the main menu:
- Click on the three lines in the upper left hand corner.
- Scroll to checkouts.
- Students can access their book from here on most devices. (Chromebooks, iPads, cell phones, laptops and desktops)
- Return books when done reading.
eBooks can also be accessed through the Follett Destiny app.
Reader of the Month
A School-Wide Recognition Program
Each month one student from every class will be selected as Reader of the Month. Each reader will get:
- Their picture on the Wall of Fame
- A Certificate of Achievement
- A Bookmark
- Lunch in the Media Center with a friend of their choosing
Help your child succeed by reading at home at least 20 minutes each night! Students who read 20 minutes a day read 1.8 million more words per year than their peers and will have read 851 hours by the sixth grade.
Encouraging Your Child:
- Encourage reading for fun
- Try graphic novels
- Follow their interests
- Take turns reading together
- Try sports books
- Find books that reflect your child's experiences
